NATURAL & STAINED MATERIALS

 

    Grandview Products uses highly transparent stain to enhance the natural characteristics in all of our hardwoods material products. This type of staining, as opposed to a painted surface, will also show the natural color and grain pattern variation that will naturally occur with furniture quality wood products.

Light colored stains or natural finishes will allow natural variations in grain and color to be more visible than on products that are in darker finishes. Products that are ordered with a natural finish will always show the greatest difference in grain pattern and color. Natural wood varies in color. Mineral streaks & pin knots may be visible. Mineral streaks will appear as dark streaks.

Size and quantity of all these characteristics are unpredictable, as are the characteristics of grain and texture. These natural variations could be different from what you visualize in viewing a smaller display or finished sample. The variations are broad, but they are the beauties of natural wood. Therefore, Grandview Products will not replace any item that is found to be objectionable for the proceeding or related reasons.
